Convocation 2011

29th Convocation of Vivekananda Institute of Languages was conducted on 12 January 2011, the National Youth Day and birthday of Swami Vivekananda.  Sri Umapathy, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, was the chief Guest of the function and handed over the Diploma Certificates to the successful candidates.  In his Convocation Address Sri Umapathy emphasised the need of the message of Swami Vivekananda to the youth of the country.

The programme began with garlanding of the statue of Swami Vivekananda at the Hussain Sagar tankbund.  Swamijis and the devotees paid their homage to Swami Vivekananda.  The Convacation programme began at 10.30 a.m. with prayer by the students of Sanskrit language.

Swami Bodhamayanandaji, in his welcome address, told about the programmes in connection with the 150th Birthday Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda.  Swami Anupamanandaji presented the annual report and explained how the Institute not only teaches languages but also imparts character building education as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda.  Revered Swami Jnanadanandaji in his presidential address told the youth to imbibe the qualities like manliness, courage, strength etc. which will help the concerned individual and country at large.

There was a symposium where the students of the Institute presented Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring message in different languages.  There was a drama “Roaring Lions of India” reflecting the importance of the message of Swami Vivekananda to the youth, enacted the students of the Institute and written and directed by Sri Balakrishna J., senior faculty of the Institute.  225 students received diploma certificates in different languages on the occasion.  1200 students and alumni participated in the programme.

it is real inspiration

I did my Diploma in English from RK math in 2000. I was inspired by the teaching ofeMr.J.Balakrishna and took teaching as a profession presently i am working Asst.Prof of English in an Engieering college and the response i am getting from the students goes to RK Math. Swamijis there taught me the lessons of life.

I am advising my students those who are completing B.Tech final year to do a course in RK Math which changes their attitude towards life. If you follow the discipline of Swamijis at RK math in your life, Your life becomes meaningful. I am indebted to RK Math. I am working as Asst.Prof of English in Jayamukhi Institute of Technological Sciences, Narsampet, Warangal

I am also a student of RamaKrishna Math...RamaKrishna Math gives so much of Inspiration...The Principles which are given by Swamiji reflects purity of thought...Swamiji speeches are divine, they will take into a new world where every living being is a temple and there is only truth...i got inspired by Swami RamakrishnaParamahamsa and swami Vivekananda in my intermediate through our Samskrit subject...One day Ramakrishnamath van came to our college to distribute the precious books of SriRamakrishna,Sarada devi and Swami vivekananda(vijayawada, krishna (dt))...I bought 4 books of them...I read daily thosebooks after my studyhour, sometimes i used to read after 12 o'clock...I really involved so much with those books...from then I admire our 3 gods...For my graduation i came hyderabad...I heard about ramakrishnamath and i was very eager to see the temple in real...In my btech 2nd year intensionally on my birthday i came and i saw the temple of Sriraakrishna ,I really felt spiritual and i went every place present in the math there i saw spirituality everywhere even in blueboys(thosedays I really didnot know they are blueboys)...my mind was fully occupied with divinity of 3 gods...I never forget that experience and i really got emotion towards the temple...and i came to know that there are some classes being conducted...But i didnot know about them clearly...after 2 years i again came to rkmath and i knew about that there are languages being taught...i wanted to join in those to improve the skill of the way of living the life, but due to college curriculum i could not apply for the courses...but i didnt forget about that,it was burning in my soul everyday and my mind always says to me that i should join,join.....by the god's blessings i have joined in mtech and this time i applied for the course...I really applied this time to learn the course but i really realised that i can learn more than that and that is as i said already...i again recollect my spiritual thoughts and i got so much self realisation...i still have to learn many...I have completed 2 levels in English course and now I am going to enter advanced level with the blessings of professors(Prasanna Lakshmi mam(junior teacher) and BalaKrishna Sir(senior teacher)) and Swami Bheethiharananda maharaj...I enjoy every day i spend in rkmath by going to universal temple and Geethadrshan...I always go to Swamiji and i clarify my doubts...Swamijisir is excellent, sir explains every doubt of mine with lot many examples...i learnt from swamiji that "we always have the patience to listen other's words and behave with good samskaras with others even to us and we should give more importance to our own soul and spend some time with your soul everyday..."I implemented that day and i realised that we may/do not need some other person to listen our sorrows and happiness as we already have an inbuilt person for us who is always eagerly waiting to talk with us(i.e.,our soul)...it is important to know because i always used to search for friends and i called them best friends and i am worried if they dont pay attention to me...but now i am not that person ,i have my own best friend and i talk with her daily...I do support that we should have friends but we may not get the friend as loyal as our soul(this is my experience)...i even tell this to my friends as well...they practised it well and are very much happy...Even though i donot have class i come to rkmath, the spirit of rkmath is that...words are not enough to express our feelings and there is something more than that which can be understood by the god and we always feel happy...Just come to rkmath and sitting for 1 minute gives so much of peace to our mind... I hope I would come to rkmath till my entire life...I am always thankful to Rkmath...Thank you...:-)
